Overview

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst Intern to join our team in a time of exciting transformation and growth. In this role, you'll report directly to the Head of Analytics and Data Transformation within the Strategic Marketing Services team AT IDG and support execution, measurement and reporting for all digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, curious, and forward-thinking team player with the ability to turn data into insightful stories. You will be tasked with building dashboards for a suite of products (Native Ads, Social Ads, Microsites, Standard Display Media and Custom HTML 5 Ad Units) – many of which have been templated for scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage dashboard reporting needs, with a focus on providing insights and analyses
  • Prioritize ad-hoc data requests and troubleshooting for our internal team members
  • Collaborate on measurement plans including KPIs and benchmarks
  • Partake in on-going implementation of website optimizations
  • Present key findings and marketing deliverables to both internal and external teams
  • Aid in the creation and execution of "test and learns"
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Learn the latest digital marketing platforms/tools

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have some internship experience in digital marketing/data transformation
  • Ability to conduct critical analysis and identify key insights
  • Understanding of UTM’s and tagging best practices
  • Above-average understanding and knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as DOMO, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Passion for learning and growth
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and perform under tight deadlines
  • Certifications/qualifications in Analytics, AdWords or other key marketing platforms is a plus
