IDG, a global media, data, and services company, is seeking an Account Manager to join its team in the Greater Boston Area!  This role will be primarily focused on selling our Consumer Brands; PCWorld, Macworld, and TechHive.   • Pursues integrated sales opportunities throughout his/her assigned territory
  • Creates powerful sales stories and presentations
  • Grows both new and existing business within assigned accounts
  • Travels to clients for face to face meetings on a regular basis
  • Actively works to maintain relationships with current clients
  • Sells across IDG’s Consumer Brands product portfolio (PCWorld, Macworld, and TechHive) – he/she will utilize a creative, problem-solving approach with superior closing skills


  • 1-2 years of inside/outside sales experience
  • A desire to dig to uncover new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients
  • Great critical thinking, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Travel required within the continental United States from time to time
