  • Oversee accounts payable function, ensuring the efficient, accurate and timely processing of payables in accordance with the company’s guidelines and procedures;
  • Manage a staff of two AP processors, facilitate balances of workflow among the AP team and maintain service level and payment standards.
  • Conduct primary review of set-up for new vendors and endure that vendor files are established in compliance with tax and other reporting requirements;
  • Manage DOR and 1099 filing process to ensure compliance with federal and state government requirements;
  • Manage month end accounts payable and fixed assets close;
  • Assess process improvement opportunities and work with team members to implement for efficiencies;
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested.


  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable process;
  • 5 - 7 years of related work experience with 3+ years in a supervisory capacity;
  • Knowledge of DOR and 1099 reporting requirements;
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus;
  • Bachelor degree in accounting, business administration or related field is preferred;
  • Ability to pay attention to details and maintain confidentiality;
  • Team player with the Ability to motivate other team members;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
