    We are seeking an inspirational, creative and hard-working digital strategist to join our award-winning strategy team. This role is an associate level position within IDG Strategic Marketing Services, a marketing and services group that works across every business unit in the company. This position will give you the opportunity to help the world’s largest technology companies create best-in-class marketing campaigns. You name the technology company- they are likely a client.

    Responsibilities

    In this position, you and your work will meet marketers of every stripe from junior managers to CMOs of huge name brands. While you ideally already know these things, you will learn about the nuances of both technology industry and marketing businesses – from creative direction, to brand strategy to advertising to marketing technology. You will create campaigns and programs that challenge the status quo, drive innovation and push change internally and within the market.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support Managers and Directors in creating brilliant strategic marketing campaigns.
    • Perform tasks necessary in the day-to-day maintenance of programs & products.
    • Stay on top of industry trends.
    • Assist team in planning activities such as brainstorming, client onboarding, and internal meetings.
    • Collect information around vendors and share knowledge with others.
    • Compile research to support the development of marketing recommendations.
    • Work to make real-time changes to optimize performance of in-market campaigns.
    • Oversee the development of strategic programs for select clients.
    • Support in budget development for programs of all sizes.
    • Develop and maintain the internal tools used by the full strategic team.

    Requirements:

    • Ideal is 1-2 years of digital marketing at an agency, media or marketing services company.  Some previous work experience preferred.
    • Candidate must be based in San Francisco, CA.
    • Interest in digital marketing, content and media.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
