    Primary Job Responsibilities:
    The Marketing Manager, Demand Generation is an integrated and engagement marketing expert charged with driving new customer acquisition. This role will test, plan and execute campaigns to acquire new customers and nurture current customers on a global scale for IDG. The successful candidate will have strong integrated media experience and a strong curiosity for the media and technology sectors with a desire to innovate. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and is located in New York, NY or Framingham, MA.


    • Manage strategy and execution—including creative development—of customer acquisition campaigns to include:
      • content creation,
      • thought leadership,
      • research initiatives,
      • display advertising and
      • direct marketing
    • Develop and manage acquisition advertising campaigns with a focus on paid social
    • Manage brand awareness campaigns
    • Track competitive research on industry trends and new business opportunities
    • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives for maximum ROI
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between marketing and sales teams for ongoing performance tracking and optimization


    • Integrated marketer with 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing
    • Experience with digital measurement and KPIs—development and analysis
    • Manage high volume of details across multiple marketing initiatives, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Clear, concise writer
    • Strong eye for design and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite a plus (but not required)
    • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced PowerPoint skills
    • Focus on high quality work product—with efficiency and cost effectiveness top of mind
    • Self-motivated, independent worker, as well as strong team player
    • Thrive in a fast pace, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment with competing priorities
    • Desire to be part of a high performing team
