    IDG Communications is seeking a passionate, highly skilled Video Content Producer to engage our audiences through our technology videos.  This role is located in IDG’s Framingham, MA office.

    Responsibilities

    As a Video Content Producer, you will assist our Editorial teams in shaping the creative vision of our content to reach the largest, most engaged audience possible. You will be in front of the camera as a host and will also be behind the camera, reaching and engaging our audiences daily.  You will also be tasked with helping to write scripts that capture the latest trends and hottest news in the enterprise technology market.  The Video Content Producer must have experience working in video production/content creation and a strong journalistic background.

     

    These videos will be created for our highly respected enterprise editorial brands and social media channels, and as custom content for our sponsorship partners.  Content will include, but not be limited to: daily tech briefings, interviews, panel discussions, in-studio series and explainers, as well as occasional product reviews, news and event coverage.

    Qualifications

    • Must have a demo reel and a host reel.
    • Experience in front of the camera as host and/or moderator.
    • 2-3 years’ experience working in video production/content creation.
    • Ability to shoot and edit on your own with minimal direction.
    • Prior experience using the Canon C100 and Sony DSLRs.
    • Prior experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and PhotoShop.
    • Versed in video lighting equipment and techniques.
    • Must be a team player.
    • A strong desire to build a highly successful video production operation and create high quality content.

     

    Bonus Qualifications:

     

    • Familiarity with all social media platforms.
    • Experience with livestream software, YouTube Live, Periscope and Facebook Live.
