    Responsibilities

    The Account Director will be responsible for:

    • Meeting/exceeding sales objectives for the assigned accounts
    • Developing a formal sales plan for all accounts
    • Conducting consultative meetings with senior managers at large companies and agencies
    • Developing a deep understanding of client's needs and then working to package IDG’s product portfolio against those objectives
    • Providing accurate sales forecasts and feedback
    • Collaborating with IDG's sales counterparts to ensure a world-class experience for IDG's clients
    • Working closely with the account services team to guarantee accounts are well served
    • Portfolio selling experience is preferred but not required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
    • 5+ years online advertising sales to clients and agencies
    • Broad understanding of the trends in online advertising and selling
    • Experience creating innovative performance enhancing programs and ability to drive sales
    • Ability to come up with solutions to unique problems and to validate results
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced sales environment
    • Some domestic travel is required for this role
