  • Overview

    International Data Group, Inc. (IDG) has an exciting opportunity for a Director to lead the Corporate Finance team.  Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer and working closely with the Controller and the International Controllers Office, this position will be important to the future growth of the Company. This individual will lead the Corporate Finance Department and will be responsible for all financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and treasury matters.


    • Provide strategic direction, technical guidance, and leadership to the Corporate Finance team of two or more.
    • Take full ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reporting.
    • Spear-head the annual worldwide budget process and monthly comparison of actual results to budget and prior year. Track and update forecasts monthly.  Monitor key performance indicators, highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variances.
    • Develop and implement a worldwide rolling 12-week cash flow forecasting model.
    • Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including preparing financial reporting for the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
    • Key team member for implementation of a new Business Intelligence platform and Dashboard reports for financial management reporting.
    • Responsible for all US banking relationships. Negotiate bank fees and interest rates.
    • Work with other leaders to secure a financing facility. Provide recommendations / implement a plan to streamline banking processes, improve efficiency and reduce cost.
    • Establish an effective treasury management function. Implement an efficient worldwide cash management process to optimize cash earnings, including ensuring adequate liquidity for working capital needs, investing short term excess cash, and managing intercompany cash.
    • Evaluate and establish a treasury program / tools to mitigate the Company’s FX fluctuation risks.
    • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to develop and improve regular financial reporting to assist with ongoing management of the business.
    • Develop financial models and detailed analyses to evaluate profitability of business components, capital expenditures, industry/peer comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisitions or other new initiatives, as requested by senior management.


    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
    • 8+ years of progressive FP&A and treasury experience, including 3+ years of management responsibility 
    • Solid technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills; strong verbal and written communication skills 
    • Candidate must be a self-starter who can adapt to change easily, a collaborative team player, and detail oriented; demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
    • Experience in fast-paced environment, highly-driven with the ability to conduct multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and advanced Excel skills
