Overview

IDG Communications is seeking a Product Manager to join our team in Needham, MA! The ideal candidate possesses a mix of product management, marketing savvy and technical know-how. This role will act as the interface between marketing stakeholders and the technology partners that help achieve the strategic goals of IDG’s data, marketing and email products. The ideal candidate should be able to navigate both business and technical environments, working hands-on and collaboratively with marketing ops and engineering to ensure email and data are integrated for peak effectiveness.

This role will be based in Needham, MA once we reopen.  Our reopening plan will remain fluid based on COVID-19 guidance to ensure the safety of all our employees.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with IDGC’s email service provider
  • Collaborate with other members of our global email center of excellence
  • Troubleshoot emergent issues with stakeholders, engineering and technology partners
  • Develop and maintain roadmap of audience engagement initiatives
  • Create requirements within Agile teams composed of marketing, editorial, UX and engineering
  • With the IDGC data team, target IDGC audiences most interested in our products
  • Lead initiatives to develop new products
  • Report on the deliverability and effectiveness of related systems

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-time experience in data management, content partnerships, and/or affiliate marketing in digital media/publishing or in support of content/distribution platforms
  • Hands-on experience as a user in an enterprise-grade email service platform
  • Experience working with engineering, UX
  • Experience with analytics data, BI tools, SaaS platforms and/or customer data platforms (CDPs) a plus
  • Strong client/ external partner management experience with exceptional presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide action-oriented insights
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and social marketing
