Overview

IDG’s Communications, is excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Executive to put a mark on our worldwide business and within our new, London based, International Growth Sales Team.     We are looking for exceptional, eager talent to generate new business and help deliver new business for the world’s largest media and marketing technology company.

We expect you to come into to the role with high energy and a commercial drive to identify, and land new business opportunities, growing the business and at the same time developing your talent and maximizing your personal commission earnings.

The ideal candidate brings ambition and talent, also grasps the opportunity to develop as a person and as a sales professional. You are focussed on your own success as well as that of others, contributing to the growth and collaboration within the team. The BDE will report to the Group Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Reach and maintain the required quantity of sales outreach via calls and email.
  • Consistently achieve minimum input of work though effective sales conversations.
  • Effective follow up with proposals and sales collateral to enable clients to make decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of client business and communication within the CRM.
  • Be fully knowledgeable of the Global Growth portfolio value proposition.
  • Develop & maintain a top line working knowledge of the digital media landscape.
  • Study and focus through the commercial sales development program.
  • Consistently look for opportunities to close business.
  • Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to improve on existing job knowledge.
