The Ad Operations Executive will play an integral role in the worldwide IDG Consumer business by delivering premium revenues.
This role will report directly to our Ad Operations Manager and will oversee the worldwide audience growth related projects and strategy. To be successful in the Ad Operations Executive role at IDG, you must be confident in your ability to work toward aggressive strategic goals set by the Consumer Leadership Team.

We are looking for someone with the ability to look down-field and plan for the evolving market while also ensuring our day-to-day needs and goals are also achieved. The Ad Operations Executive will be the driving force behind excellence in delivery of our premium revenues (Direct IO and PMP). They will be tasked with implementing the appropriate strategies, tools, processes, and metrics that will ensure best practice campaign delivery.

 

Responsibilities

Results Areas:

  • Responding to global campaign briefs delivering inventory avails & analysis
  • Assess campaign data to make set-up based decisions on best practices & flighting on the ad server
  • Set-up campaigns on DFP Premium for both IO and PMP campaigns
  • Review and use the appropriate tools and data available for campaign optimization
  • Provide support and cover to other specialists in times of heavy workload and/or holiday cover.
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Supporting wider Ad Operations teams with

Qualifications

  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships; must be able to work with various internal stakeholders in a collaborative & harmonious way and drive projects through to successful conclusion.
  • Ability to review, select and manage external partnerships to maximize our return and affected results.
  • Adaptable & able to switch focus and priorities quickly and seamlessly
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work at fast pace, to achieve targets & business goals
  • Precision in analyzing results, reporting and providing recommendations /adjustments
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an as-needed basis. (obviously currently limited)
  • Min. 1-2 year current experience working with DFP Premium
  • Knowledge/experience of Premium Programmatic (PD/PG) execution a bonus.
  • Strong, intuitive analytical skills a must
  • HTML/JavaScript and troubleshooting skills a bonus.
  • Confident knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service skills, both oral and written
  • Good math skills for troubleshooting and campaign planning
  • Excellent personal workflow management as this position requires the ability to work on multiple projects at once without missing a deadline.
