IDG is seeking a Creative Producer/Project Manager (CP) to scope and facilitate workflow for the Creative Team across client, editorial, sales, events, and corporate work. Reporting into the Head of Creative, the CP will primarily be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are scoped properly and executed on time and have an expertise in creative production and relevant digital tools to optimize efficiency.

  • Scope strategic design projects with internal stakeholders to ensure goals and objectives are met while maintaining the integrity of the creative process
  • Collaborate with the Client Success team to build repeatable and scalable best-in-class creative process in IDG’s project management platforms
  • Assign incoming projects to the relevant Creative Team member, managing bandwidth/capacity and collaborate with design leadership to determine when work should be outsourced to our stable of freelancers
  • Lead daily standup for Creative Team to ensure that all timelines are met, issues are addressed with the help of Head of Creative, and risks communicated to Client Success team or relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and grow a database of top-tier freelancer talent with different skillsets and areas of expertise to tackle myriad project types.
  • Work with Head of Creative to implement a project management platform across all projects
  • Help sales strategists scope and price in pre-sale as needed.


The Creative Producer should be extremely well organized, someone who understands the workings of a creative team and is comfortable managing design deliverables. This person should be a strong relationship builder who feels comfortable being the communication hub that keeps everything working smoothly. Additionally, successful CP candidates should possess:

  • Minimum 5 years + in a design, project management or a production role in a creative agency or creative studio. Experience in publishing or sales environments is also desirable.
  • Proven ability at managing creative teams and allocating resources.
  • Excellent project planning and scoping skills.
  • Experience in designing and implementing creative workflow processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with project management and collaboration tools.
  • Skilled at working under pressure, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
