IDG is seeking an Account Executive to join our US sales team with a focus on our Commercial (SMB) clients!

Responsibilities

  • Researching prospective clients within assigned territory
  • Conducting cold calls, prospecting, and qualifying account opportunities
  • Develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities, while also focus on closing existing business opportunities
  • Territory & pipeline management including prospecting and activity, call reports, and forecasting
  • Clearly & articulately communicating information out to clients and internal colleagues to ensure a seamless, world class client experience

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of prior direct sales, account management, or very strong sales support experience (including involvement in upselling, pitching, and delivering sales materials directly to clients)
  • Prior outbound cold-calling experience
  • Proven negotiation experience and the ability to obtain agreement from multiple parties throughout the entire sale process
  • Ability to build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
  • High-energy, resourceful, creative, and coachable
  • Self-starter who can work independently while also knowing when and how to successfully collaborate with peers
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and top-notch time management skills
  • Strong desire to have a career in Sales
