IDG is looking to add a Data Integration Specialist to the team in Needham, MA or in a remote location on the East Coast!  As a Data Integration Specialist, you will become a subject matter expert on IDG’s data and systems. You will play a key role within the Information Technology Solutions team (ITS), responsible for the flow, delivery, and trustworthiness of marketing data, ensuring it generates confidence and value among IDG’s internal and external customers.  


You should enjoy partnering with business stakeholders, clients, and engineers alike to define challenges, goals, and solutions. You should also thrive on working iteratively and quickly to deliver technology solutions to a rapidly evolving data ecosystem. 


  • Partners with multifunctional teams including sales, engineering and clients to implement integrations and manages those integrations throughout their lifecycle. 
  • Establishes and monitors KPIs (key performance indicators) for data quality and delivery and initiates efforts to improve both. 
  • Leverages an analytical mind to evaluate data quality and to analyze business requirements, turning them into actionable solutions.
  • Works in a variety of systems, for which you will be trained, including cloud data systems, CDPs (Customer Data Platforms) and other martech platforms.
  • Is a proven, effective communicator to technical and non-technical audiences, always thinking about the simplest ways to translate complex concepts.

  • Proficiency with Excel, including using advanced functions to sift datasets

  • Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and/or XML
  • A proven ability to analyze datasets using tools like Excel, Python, SQL
  • Added bonus skillsets include:
    • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) such as Hubspot, Marketo or Eloqua
    • SQL and BigQuery skills
    • Experience with SOAPUI, Postman or other API clients
    • Experience with data visualization tools like Domo, PowerBI or Looker
