We are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated Director, International Agency Sales, to support on delivering against growth targets and revenues across our Media, Services, Data and Events pillars of the business and to drive profitable revenue growth from our valued agency partners.


In this role, you will be responsible for manging existing accounts, proactively developing new business across an identified list of potential agency growth accounts and delivering high quality proposals, in order to achieve monthly and quarterly targets. The successful applicant will be expected to work with their sales team counterparts to grow revenue share and deliver a world-class customer experience.


The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing, the media space and the agency landscape, and will have the ability to find opportunities and confidently present to clients, offering highly focused and customised marketing solutions that drive tangible results.


The Director, International Agency Sales reports to the Senior Director B2B and Head of Consumer, who works directly out of our London office.

  • Develop, service, and prospect relationships with named B2B agencies.
  • Gain market share with your existing customer base.
  • Drive new business revenue generation from identified agency growth accounts.
  • Be a key participant in setting out and executing on IDGs sales strategy.
  • Confidently present IDG's portfolio of custom solutions
  • Negotiate and be responsible for all contracts and execute creative ideas
  • Oversee accounts planning, sales forecasting, CRM usage, and pipeline management.
  • Report on the sales pipelines and booking cadence of the business.
  • Identify new opportunities and channels for growth


  • Extensive online sales experience, within a technology environment is beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience selling dedicated online & marketing solutions demonstrating a deep understanding of online media and trends
  • Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills; able to work at fast pace, to achieve targets & business goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work across IDG local business units worldwide and within IDG Global Solutions
  • Very strong presentation skills to senior level executives
  • BA/BS level degree or equivalent is desirable
