Overview

IDG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Quote-to-Cash to lead our sales operations and revenue generation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end quote-to-cash process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in closing deals and optimizing revenue streams. The quote-to-cash process encompasses the steps involved in generating a sales quote, negotiating terms, closing deals, and ultimately receiving payment. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to define, rationalize and streamline the quote-to-cash process, from initial quote creation to revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment in quote generation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Implement best practices for contract management, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Form, lead and mentor a team of professionals involved in Order Management, Billing and Collections.
• Analyze and optimize pricing models, discount structures, and contract terms to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the quote-to-cash process.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and implement tools to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quote-to-cash processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating success in optimizing quote-to-cash processes and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of contract management, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools for sales operations and revenue management.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

 

This position will be located in our Needham, MA office with the a hybrid work schedule. Minimum of 2 days/week in the office.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. The anticipated total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $180,000 260,000 is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
