IDG is currently seeking a detail-oriented, strategic Business Analyst Intern to support our corporate strategy department who is interested in organizational behavior and how change impacts employees to join our team for a comprehensive, 10-week paid summer internship program. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the Business Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to support IDG’s strategic and merger and acquisition decision-making processes.
This role will be a fully remote internship.

Internship Project:
During this internship, you will be responsible for conducting financial modeling and analyses that inform our strategy development and merger and acquisition activities. This includes learning to construct detailed financial models that predict financial performance and the ability to conduct scenario analyses. You will also understand how to perform market and competitive analyses to identify business opportunities and risk. This will ultimately lead to preparing materials for strategic discussions and sharing the gathered information and data.
IDG is looking for an Undergraduate student pursuing a major in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, familiarity with financial databases and software, and an ability to collaborate with others.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. The expected compensation, depending on education level, is between $22-$25/hour for undergrads and $30-35/hour for graduate students.
