This role is can be 100% remote in an approved east coast US location.

Responsibilities

  • Implement AI solutions capable of handling large-scale data, real-time processing addressing high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Be comfortable with generative AI systems, including familiarity with using LLM models.
  • Lead efforts to showcase AI feasibility and value. Translate PoC results into production-ready pilots.
  • Keep up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks.
  • Implement prompt engineering to improve the speed, relevancy, and accuracy of the AI solutions.
  • Ensure AI solutions adhere to security and privacy standards. Address data privacy risks, model vulnerabilities, and ethical considerations.
  • Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and technical specifications.
  • Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, DevOps engineers, UI/UX design engineers and product managers to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Embrace diverse project scopes and adapt your approach to excel in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in building customer-facing products and solutions.
  • Proven experience in architecting, designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions.
  • Experience in AI development using LLMs, GPT models and Azure AI
  • Experience in prompt engineering considering user intent, context, and reasoning.
  • Proven experience in frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel and vector databases.
  • Knowledge of ChatGPT/Copilots, machine learning, neural networks, NLP, and computer vision
  • Familiarity with AIOps, MLOps, including CI/CD, model training or testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment with data engineers, data scientists, and designers.
  • Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python and Java.
  • Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI.
  • Certifications, such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, are preferred.
  • Effective communication, presentation, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The anticipated total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $115,000 and $140,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
